It was no extra effort to add a little piece of mind with a driveshaft safety loop assembly from BMR. This is a must when running sticky street tires or slicks at any NHRA dragstrip. It’s a lot easier to tighten the front driveshaft bolts before installing the safety loop. The six crossmember bolts/nuts are easily accessible to drop again as we did not final-torque them. Simply add the spacer between the trans mount/crossmember, and add the driveshaft loop bracket between the frame/crossmember.
