Now the stock lower arms are the weak link in the rear suspension, and just about the only item swapped out on the Boss 302 to make it an R-model. We opted for BMR’s lightweight, solid 6061-T6 aluminum lower control arms. If your car is lowered or used for serious drag racing, use the relocation brackets to correct the instant center of the car, resulting in much better 60-foot times and almost no wheelspin between gear changes. If you choose to keep the handling intact on a stock-ride-height car, we recommend adding just the lower arms to eliminate wheelhop and deliever more grip in the corners.
