Before you get down to business on the stock manifolds, you’ll want to support the drivetrain with a jack under the transmission. Then you can remove the starter, remove the motor mount, remove the tubular brace under the oil pan, and disconnect the steering shaft U-joint and let the shaft hang out of the way.
