Adding a stainless-steel, clutch fluid line was the bonus feature of Steve's project. While the Ford Racing Performance Parts line fits all manual-transmission '05-'10 'Stangs, it actually is listed as a service-replacement component for FR500CJ (Cobra Jet) and FR500S race Mustangs. Shelbys with big-blower upgrades and upwards of 700 rwhp are subject to higher clutch-fluid temperatures that can stress the stock plastic line. The stainless-steel/braided flex-hose reduces expansion in such severe-duty conditions, and Steve reports that it really improved clutch feel.
