2008 Ford Shelby GT500 Easy Action Shelby Emblem

Like most GT500 fans, I believe the emblem should be centered on the trunk lid, just like it was back in the day. Ford eventually fixed that issue on the '10 GT500, but I was hesitant to make the move myself until I discovered the Stuck On You Graphics Trunk Emblem Template (PN TEMT-GT500-0709; $20.00) from JLT Performance. With the confidence to get the emblem reinstalled properly I carefully removed the stock letters using a heat gun and a plastic putty knife wrapped by a microfiber towel. Once I pried the emblem off, there was still an adhesive shadow on the trunk lid. View Related Article
