Measuring Boss 340 for its 3 1/2-inch aluminum driveshaft was our last mock-up procedure. Rocco and Tony took measurements, crawling under the lifted 'Stang and running a tape measure between the face of the rear yoke and the end of the transmission's tailshaft housing (47 inches at the end of the output shaft). The required shaft measures 48 3/8 inches, and is being developed by specialists at The Drive Shaft Shop in Salisbury, North Carolina. View Related Article
