Don't be fooled by Boss 340's old-school Top Loader tranmission's appearance. It's the stuff on the inside that really matters. (We admit the case doesn't look all that great--our plan is to spruce it up with a few coats of black paint later.) Internally, our project's four-gear is fresh and ready to work, with a complete set of Liberty's pro-shifted gears, dog rings, sliders, and so on. With A.R.E.'s twin-post hoist tied up by a classic Brand-X project, the crashbox had to be raised into position "man-style" (while laying/working on the shop's floor), with Tony being the team member who drew the short straw.
