Using a hammer and a brass drift (it won't spark), gently nudge the sealing ring into its unlocked position, which frees the stock fuel-pump assembly. You'll have to do a bit of twisting and wiggling to get the stock assembly out, but it's not too tough to remove. To hold the pump assembly and keep fuel from dripping onto your car's interior, have a towel and bucket handy. View Related Article
