Swarr Bar Inspection Swarr Bar Assembly Kit
Here's a look at Swarr Auto's new Swarr Bar ($149). It's a mild-steel, bolt-on brace designed to keep an 8.8 axle housing from flexing and twisting to the point of eventual breakage when you're hitting it hard with horsepower. The kit includes the bar, attachment plates, and all the required 31/48-inch bolts, washers, and nylock nuts. Installation should take less than one hour using only a drill that requires a 251/464-inch bit, a ratchet, a 91/416-inch socket, and a 91/416-inch wrench. Naturally, a floor jack and jackstands are used to safely lift the Mustang to get the job done.
