This tool was invaluable in allowing us to learnwhat was going on when the ZEX nitrous was activated, how that affectedthe engine maps, and how to tune for max power. Thanks, SCT! On thein-house MD Motorsports dyno, our stock GT was good for 257 hp and 280lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. With the 75-horse jets installed inthe ZEX nitrous nozzle, we recorded 337 rear-wheel horsepower and 400rear-wheel torque for nearly an 80hp and 120-torque gain. Keep in mind,the graphs have more data points than our charts, so they often showslightly higher numbers than our 100-rpm increments. The nitrous numberswere reached with a custom MD Motorsports program designed for thisapplication.
