With time short, fixing the problem for now was as simple as busting out the trusty Sawzall and cutting the tailpipes off. Short 2 1/2-inch diameter extensions were added for testing to give the dyno's exhaust hoses something to hang on. Proper mandrel bent 2 1/2-inch tailpipes will be added soon to quiet the setup down a bit, and they shouldn't cause any loss in power. View Related Article
