2001 Ford Mustang GT Receives Plasma Injection - 3g GT
Use a pair of pliers or similar... Use a pair of pliers or similar tool to attach the quick-slide connector to each coil wire. | Connect each Plasma Booster... Connect each Plasma Booster wire to its corresponding quick-slide connector. | Before locating a mounting... Before locating a mounting spot for the box, find a suitable ground for the Plasma Booster. We used the passenger-side alternator bolt for our installation. This bolt provided the most logical mounting place for the ground. If the ground is not properly attached, the Plasma Booster won't work. If you want to do your own dyno testing, install the Plasma Booster but leave the ground disconnected. That way you can run the car, and when you're ready to test the Plasma Booster, simply attach the ground and re-test. | The Plasma Booster's box installs... The Plasma Booster's box installs using two-sided tape on the back of the box. We installed ours at the firewall just above the strut-tower brace. Two-sided tape may not seem to be the best installation method, but ours has stayed put even after months of road duty. | With deliberate use of tie-straps... With deliberate use of tie-straps it's possible to achieve an unassuming installation. However, the Plasma Booster's yellow wires are bound to attract attention. Who wouldn't want to show off extra horsepower anyway? | |
