Installing GT-40P Heads: Iron Head Horsepower
8. These are the Explorer, or GT-40P, heads we installed. They're available from Central Coast Mustang in either stock or modified form. Ours received the Trophy Stock-legal treatment, which means port-matching. The lower intake on Holten's GT is ported, and the heads were port-matched to the intake. Notice the combustion chamber layout with the spark plug located toward the center of the chamber. View Related Article
