5.0 Engine Buildup
Slamming in the ‘Big Thumper’ cam doesn’t guarantee good horsepower production. The camshaft needs to be matched to the engine combination and driving habits. Figure on a hydraulic roller—but consult with your engine builder or local 5.0 shop about a specific profile. There are so many engine combinations that we can’t advise a specific grind.
