For unquestioned durability John went for stock-length Carrillo H-beamrods with Carr SPS bolts. The piston is a full-skirt,antifriction-coated CP forging from ModMax. Per the rules, it gives 11:1compression. The piston pin is made of proprietary material by Del West.It's a massive 0.150 inch thick. The ring package is off-the-shelf stuffwith a 1.5mm Total Seal top, a 2mm Napier second, and 3mmHasting's-style oil control rings.
