The last step of the mount install was bolting everything down. This mount does tame the engine movement and improve the on-power feel of the car, but be warned—it also transmits more engine vibrations into the chassis. You get a slight vibration at start-up and a bit of noise at idle. You will also get chatter if you aren’t precise when you disengage the clutch. It’s pretty minor to Mustangers used to big cams and loud exhausts, but if you are a stickler about NVH, be warned.
