The i-1 is designed with a smaller scroll and impeller to facilitate the additional girth that comes from the unit’s large internal CVT apparatus and electric motor. The compressor housing can be rotated (clocked) almost 270 degrees. The actuator (motor) end of the unit clocks every 20 degrees for fitment. Like the original P-1SC Coyote supercharger, the new system also uses a dedicated six- or eight-rib external drive belt.
