Laughing in the Face of Deadlines
If you’re pushing the envelope of performance with your Mustang, you’re bound to break a few parts. Sometimes the timing of that breakage is less fortuitous than others.
Case in point is Justin Humprey’s ’00 GT. As you know, it put down some big rear-wheel power during the dyno portion of our King of the Street competition. What you might not know is some parts let go while it was on the dyno. One of the those parts was his Two-Valve engine’s timing chain.
You’ll have to wait until our May issue to see how Justin fared in the competition, but for now, this photo makes for a great opportunity to make light of his misfortune. Make us laugh, and you might just score a coveted 5.0&SF sticker.
