One of the most important things when using any car care product is READTHE DIRECTIONS! With carwash soap, you can save yourself some money andwork by not using more soap than you should. A mixture of about 2-4capfulls of soap per gallon of water is correct. NEVER USE DISH SOAP!Dish soaps are extremely harsh and will dull the finish of your car'spaint. They're also harsh on rubber, vinyl and plastics.

Most people wash out of one bucket. This is a big no-no. When using onebucket, every time you dip your brush/mitt after scrubbing the car,you're re-soaking it in all the dirt particles you're cleaning off.

Hose off the car really well before washing to remove all of the loosedirt and contaminants. Make sure to spray in those smallcrevices and holes too. This helps prevent crud build-up in some of theunseen areas. When washing, start from the top of the car and work yourway down. This helps keep your wash mitt/brush clean and minimize therisk of scratching while washing.
