The third wire Scott cuts into is pale blue with a red stripe (pin No. 88 in our case). This is the MAF signal wire, and to the MAF side of the cut, Scott connects the kit's yellow wire. He then connects the kit's orange wire to the EEC side, thereby placing the MAFtuner electronically in line between the MAF and the EEC. By the way, there's also a fifth wire on the MAFtuner harness--a blue one--that is for GM applications only and is not used.
