Stock spindles have a taper where the outer tie-rod end fits, but Maximum's bumpsteer kit uses straight shanked hardware through the spindle. Therefore, the taper is drilled out--a job for which Paul used a mill. A vise and drill motor will get the job done as well. View Related Article
