1986 Ford Mustang GT

The engine in Steve’s GT is a Ford Racing Performance Parts GT-40 crate engine displacing 302 cubes, a B303 cam, X303 aluminum heads, a GT-40 intake, and a 9.0:1 compression ratio. With the B-cam, Ford Racing rated it at 345 flywheel horsepower, but wanting more pop, Steve added a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger, a blower he can grow into if the need for more power arises. At the time of this writing, Steve was content with 10 pounds of boost, but as we all know, the Novi 2000 is capable of much, much more. View Related Article
