Karnuts Auto Center’s Bernie Kasievich screwed together a 347 using a Ford Racing Performance Parts R302 four-bolt block with a Crower crankshaft, Manley H-beam connecting rods, and JE pistons. Bernie also ported the AFR 205 heads before adding an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake up top. For boost, Chad chose a blower he could grow with—a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger. With a 50mm cog drive, the Novi is putting out 19 pounds of the good stuff, enabling the combination to pound out 663 hp to the wheels. Many people confuse the tank in the hatch area for a fuel cell. In fact, it’s a tank for the water-injection system, however, the 663hp came before the addition of water injection.
