1992 Saac Ford Mustang Left Side
|
One of the most famous SAAC cars was that of Steve Grebeck's. Built during Steve's time at Watson Engineering, this SAAC car is reported to be the first nitrous-assisted Mustang in the 8s. Steve terrorized dragstrips with this car in 5.0 shootouts and match races starting in late 1991. It was actually billed as an MK I and carried an XD-1 nameplate. The XD-1 stood for Experimental Drag Car. Sadly, Steve Grebeck was killed at a Fun Ford Weekend while racing in the Pro 5.0 class at Orlando in 2001. View Related Article
