Jeff has open-tracked the Mach 1 at Sebring, and drag raced it to the tune of 11.30s at over 130 mph, obviously traction-limited. Causing the traction issues is the Whipple-supercharged aluminum Four-Valve developing over 593 hp at the wheels. Another concession Jeff made to the swap was the lack of a reverse lockout for the car's T56. The Mach 1 computer and harness doesn't have a provision for the lockout. Jeff deals with the extra effort at getting into Reverse and the possibility of shifting into Reverse at speed. Ouch!
