2006 Ford Mustang Pony Package V6 Engine Bay
|
No disrespect to V-6 owners, but when someone asks me how to make a V-6 Mustang faster, I reply: "Put a V-8 in it." I'm sorry, but it's just easier that way. Lance and PowerHouse Automotive's Mike Bowen somewhat agree with that sentiment. Lance took the V-6 route for a while, but when the engine expired, he upgraded to a built Shelby GT500 5.4 with a Precision Turbo 76mm single turbocharger. PowerHouse twisted the wrenches on Lance's car since it was new. Thus far, Powerhouse has taken it to 665 hp at the wheels on a Mustang Dyno. That number gets Lance's Pony down the track in 9.93 seconds at 140 mph. View Related Article
