1994 Cobra Mustang Front View
|
Here's a quick SN-95 Cobra quiz question, and we're sure our Melvins know the answer: What's the major difference at the back of a 5.0-powered SN-95 Cobra and its modular-powered '98 Cobra cousins-other than their taillights? If you answered "rear bumper covers," you're absolutely correct. The rear bumper on Ron's and other '94-'95 Snakes feature V-6 Mustang (which were still called "LX") covers embossed with the word Mustang, not Cobra. The Cobra-stamped bumper covers weren't introduced until 1998 and have been one of the standard identifiers for the hopped-up Ponies ever since. View Related Article
