Tracing the lineage of this linkage to one of my favorite S197s, the '08-'09 Bullitt, it's not difficult to believe that the stock shifter feels pretty great. The loosely flowing boot on the emergency brake handle is my current pet peeve with the interior, and a sleeker solution should be sought. Far more pleasing is the new, level center console, which provides for comfortable cruising and unfettered shifting. View Related Article
