While the polished stainless steel inserts in the back bumper make the Cobra logo more visible, the rear suspension is basically the stock IRS with H&R Sport Springs. Like the front springs, the H&Rs lower the car about an inch and a half. For now, he's left the transmission stock save for a heavy-duty input shaft. The rearend is also stock. Jamey plans to install a Fab 9 rearend, which he calls a "built to the hilt" 9-inch. He'll also pull the stock T56 for a Powerglide as he transforms the 1,000hp Cobra to more or less a race car, and eventually fit the Cobra with a chrome-moly 'cage.
