On the outside, the new Q650R doesn't really scream race car with its mostly stock exterior. We've seen bigger wings on grocery carts, but this one's definitely functional. Every Mustang fan is jealous of the Q650R's rolling stock as we'd all like to roll on Forgeline wheels wrapped in Nitto NT01 treads. Steeda's own brakes hide inside the Forgelines to slow the madness before the turns. The body upgrades are limited to a Steeda front splitter, race wing, a cowl hood, and painted side mirrors. Don't forget the neighborhood-alarm side-exit exhaust, either.

Steeda Project Ford Mustang Engine Bay
The Q650R features a Three-Valve engine bolstered with an Eagle crankshaft and rods, Arias pistons, and Ford Racing Performance Parts CNC-ported heads. To live up to Q650R nomenclature, the car boasts a Whipple supercharger up top. Steeda's own chief technician, Steve Chicisola, built the engine for the car, which makes somewhere north of 550 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque on Steeda's in-house Dynojet. We're sure the Whipple makes corner exits an adventure. The Q650R also features Steeda's Adaptive Performance Calibration tuning, which is the same setup Steeda uses on its street models. A custom exhaust system bellows from below, and trust us when we say this car will wake the neighbors two towns away.
