Automotive Machine Service did all the machining on the RDI aluminum engine block. A Lunati crankshaft with GRP rods, JE pistons, and balanced with an ATI flywheel/dampener duo supplies the foundation of 360-cube combination. Boost enters the engine by way of a newly added Edelbrock dominator mount intake, port-matched by Jim Kuntz to a set of his free-flowing Brodix Neal BF-202 aluminum cylinder heads. Bassani built a set of stainless steel headers that connect to 4-inch stainless tubing that feeds the 94mm Turbonetics turbocharger. The charge is then cooled as it passes through a Hellion custom aftercooler, which the company rates at supporting more than 3,000 hp, before it's offered back to the engine at around 25-30 psi. All exhaust gases exit through a 5-inch aluminum downpipe.
