One More Teal
In the past year we've probably had more teal Mustangs in 5.0&SF than were built. But here's one more of the teal terrors-Bruce Halliburton's '94 GT convertible. The Alexandria, Virginia, resident performed all the upgrades on the car except for the addition of Ford Racing Performance Parts 3.55 gears. Bruce added FRPP GT-40Y heads with Crane roller rockers, a polished Cobra intake, FRPP headers, a MAC cold-air kit, an MSD ignition, a 200-amp alternator, March underdrive pulleys, a MagnaFlow X-pipe, and a Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Exterior appointments include an ABC Exclusive front spoiler, ultra-clear head and side-marker lights, Saleen taillight covers, a '96-'98 Cobra hood, a '94-'95 Cobra wing, and '00 Cobra R wheels wrapped in Dunlop rubber.

Home Cooking
Earl Hudson heats up the streets of Dearborn, Michigan, in his '95 GT. The car is mostly stock except for a K&N filter, a removed air silencer, a Flowmaster after-cat exhaust, sidescoops, and Yokohama treads. Most of the work on Earl's car is inside the cockpit with the addition of a JVC head unit, a Sherwood amplifier and crossover, and Pioneer speakers all the way around, including a 10-inch subwoofer. Although you can't see it from this shot, Earl's GT also boasts a Bullitt gas door.

Just Right
When we called Vestal, New York's Chris Lemmon to find out more about his '95 GT, guess where he was? Yup, the garage. He was going through the engine in the car and adding a Trick Flow Stage 1 cam, GT-40P heads, an Edelbrock Victor intake, and a Holley carburetor. He figures there aren't that many SN-95 Mustangs running around with carbs on them, so he decided to go a different route. What really drew us in, however, was the just-right stance of the dark charcoal over teal (not another one), wingless GT with Weld big 'n' littles. The 15x10 Draglites fill out the wheelwells in back nicely. The car also features a TTC-Tremec 3550 transmission with a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, an FRPP aluminum driveshaft and 4.10 gears, BBK headers, and Flowmaster 40-series mufflers. Chris works in a fabrication shop, and he even made his own upper and lower control arms.

1995 Mustang Gt Lou Materazzo 1995 Gt Convertible
Cool Sticker
Livening up Showcase and giving it some color is Lou Materazzo's Vibrant Red '95 GT convertible. The Bainbridge, New York, resident says this is his third attempt to get into the magazine. (With a name like Materazzo, we better get it in this time or we'll be swimming with the fishes.) Lou added ROH wheels with BFGoodrich rubber, Eibach springs, Flowmaster mufflers, subframe connectors, underdrive pulleys, a Hypertech chip, a K&N filter, 3.73 gears, and an FRPP stripe kit. Though Lou says the car's never seen rain or snow, he still gives it a good whack at autocross events and the dragstrip. We like the sticker too.

1995 Mustang Gt Jose Olmos 1995 Gt
Panoramic View
Jose Olmos says his '95 GT may not look like much, but under the dark, sleek exterior hides a beast hungry for asphalt. The Panorama, California, resident added a De Molet Densecharger system, a Pro-M 75mm mass air meter, a BBK 70mm throttle body, an Edelbrock Performer RPM II intake, BBK headers, a Bassani X-pipe and after-cat, a 190-lph fuel pump, and an MSD ignition. Jose thanks us for the May '03 issue's Tech Inspection, which helped him pick out Age Classic Designs' smoked SN-95 headlights. "[They] look great," Jose says. We agree. Oh, yeah, Jose-get yourself a nice 306 short-block with forged pistons, and then get those aluminum heads and maybe add a shot of nitrous or a blower. That would be fun. A 3.73 or 4.10 gear wouldn't hurt either.
