It's interesting to note that John's Mustang build has kindled a committed performance spirit within him, though it's not entirely of the Blue Oval persuasion. The fact is, the '92 was the first in a growing stable of interesting performance rides of all brands and eras, including a '63 split-window Corvette, a '79 Trans Am, an '87 Buick Grand National, and a '93 Lightning. Of them all, the LX remains the lone, blown, stick-shifted ride-a combination that never fails to paint a big grin on John's face, nor allows him to forget the performance for which Fox Mustangs are famous.
Of course, none of this would likely have happened if it weren't for Rob and Robin, and through all the busted knuckles and late-night installations, real friendships have evolved and cemented. Likewise for the family man in John, none of the above would be possible without the help and support of his wife, Holly, and kids Forest and Hunter.
