"I spent countless hours under the hood," Shawn says. We can tell. Motivation comes by way of a Coast High Performance 347 stroker short-block fitted with a Comp Cams custom grind, Trick Flow Street Heat heads ported by Fox Lake Power Products, and an Edelbrock Victor intake with a Holley 80mm throttle body. Even though just about every component under the hood is chrome, what dominates the engine compartment is the twin-turbo kit with its equally appealing housings and custom tubing. Shawn hasn't raced the car since the turbos were installed, but he's waiting to add an ACCEL Gen VII DFI system and to have Job Spetter tune it before taking it down the track. Before the hairdryers, Shawn ran consistent 11.60s at 117 mph.
