The 622 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque (at the rear wheels) under that pretty hood is for real! It's a collaborative effort, of sorts, between Sean Hyland and Paul Faessler. Sean supplied the parts and assembly, and Paul made the thing rip. The engine features a stock 281ci displacement with a Cobra steel crank and forged rods and pistons. The Ford Racing Performance Parts cylinder heads have been given the Stage 2 port job from Sean Hyland Motorsport, and they work with 0.495-inch lift cams. The FRPP manifold works with a Pro-M mass air and a K&N air filter. Vortech's YT-Trim blower makes 20 psi with the 2.75-inch blower pulley through the SHM intercooler. The EEC V processor gets timing and fuel direction through a reprogrammed Autologic chip done at Paul's Automotive Engineering. View Related Article
