So what does Kevin have to show for his efforts? How about a Best Modified Mustang award at the 2000 World Ford Challenge, a Best Modified Mustang award at the 2000 Fun Ford Bristol, a Best of Show award at the 2000 NMRA World Finals, a First-Place trophy from the ISCA show in Louisville in 2001, Best Modified Mustang and Best Engine awards from the '01 World Ford Challenge, a Best of Show at the '01 NMRA World Finals, and...well, you get the picture.
So do we.
Kevin says he "became goofy, sending everything out to get polished or chromed." It all started when he ordered the Vortech S-Trim in polished form. It snowballed from there. The result was an extra 15 months to finish the car. During the down time, Kevin built six cars and three trucks to help finance the project. Willie Byers is responsible for the chrome and polish work under the hood.
