It took Grant Holmes roughly eight months to complete the transformation of his GT. He completely changed the color of the car and added an H.O. Fibertrends hood, a California Special front bumper, a shaved decklid, a carbon-fiber taillight panel, and 20-inch Bullitt-style wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber. He also smoked all the lights, tinted the windows, added Saleen Extreme window deletes, and installed a Shelby grille. To enhance performance, Grant bolted on a Pypes Performance exhaust, Blow-By Racing cams, a JLT Performance cold-air intake, Steeda Autosports underdrive pulleys, and a 100 shot of the good stuff. “I wanted this car to to be clean and stand out from the rest,” Grant explained. Mission accomplished.

Kevin Parrett thought it would be entertaining to put his great aunt Helen Kramer at the wheel of his 500hp Cobra. We don't think he lost his mind enough to let her drive the car, but any 91-year-old person willing to even get behind the wheel of such a vehicle is cool in our book—literally. Greenbrier, Tennessee's Tim Preston is the third lucky owner of this '93 LX coupe. The original owner kept the car until 2005, when it was sold to the second owner, Tim purchased the car in 2010. It remains largely stock, save for Maximum Motorsports suspension upgrades, an H-pipe, a K&N filter, an MGW shifter, Flowmaster mufflers, and Ford Racing spark-plug wires. The coupe still had the original date-coded spark plug wires, shocks, and struts when Tim purchased it. The original paint is holding on strong after some buffing; even the original stereo still works. It has over 114,000 miles on the clock. That's Ford tough.
