As genuine fans of Mustang drag racing, we know everything's right with the world if Mike Murillo is back in a race car. And no matter what the stock market is doing, when Mike and Dan Millen are lined-up against each other, life doesn't get any better. We were really looking forward to the Murillo/Millen matchup in Round 1, but after performing his burnout, Dan was unable to get the car into Reverse, and our dreams were dashed. Mike sealed the top qualifying position with a 6.81 at a monstrous 220 mph, so we know he was on his game.
