SAAC Adopts SVTOA - Something Old, Something New
On all but Monday, the west track was dedicated to giving rides or parade laps. Ford was there in force, providing free thrills in its hopped-up yellow GT and blue GT 500 test mules. Vendors were also invited to give rides, keeping Bruc Griggs and Miller's driving school busy putting huge grins on riders', and occasionally drivers', faces. It ws a great chance for enthusiasts to sample the magic and manufactures to provide the opportunity. It's exactly what the Mustang market needed to support chassis specialists who have a difficult time conveying what their products are capable of without putting customers in a car.
