KOTS competitors were able to make two back-to-back dragstrip passes down Beech Bend Raceway's quarter-mile track on their Nitto 555R Extreme Drag radials. We know-it's King of the Street, but the cars can't just be dyno queens. We want to know that they're fast and the owners are capable of driving them. We knew Mark Magnuson driving Ben Ripstein's Cobra would be hard to beat, and we were right. Mark wrecked the Cobra during testing two weeks prior. He kept the car straight at Bowling Green, running a 10.31 at 132 mph to win the Drag Race portion.
