Burnout Contest Smoke your tires-and WIN some cash! The NMRA hosts a wild, tire-smokin' burnout contest on Sunday of every NMRA Ford Nationals event. It's free to enter, so if you want to win cold, hard cash, an NMRA membership, and make all the girls-or guys-swoon, make sure you join the fun. The Burnout Contest is open to all spectators and racers. If you make the crowd happy, you win the cash and a FREE NMRA Membership! So bring your extra set of tires and join the wild and crazy contest. Don't miss the awesome, tire-smokin' action at each NMRA Ford Nationals event.
Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords True Street Class MM&FF True Street is a racing class for mildly modified to heavily modified, high-performance, Ford-based, street vehicles that are street certified and able to drive a 30-mile distance. Vehicles must be registered, licensed, and insured. There will be trophies and awards for not only for the "King of True Street" (quickest average) and runner up, but also for the closest averaged e.t. that is not quicker than 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, and 15.00. No Membership Required
UPR Top Qualifier Contest Qualify No. 1 in DiabloSport Pro 5.0 or MSD Super Street Outlaw and win the Top Qualifier Award brought to you by UPR Products.
Every NMRA Ford Nationals Drag Racing Series features the UPR Top Qualifier Contest. UPR Products sponsors not only the NMRA Ford Nationals, but many racers as well. The UPR Top Qualifier Contest is a special promotion to reward the number-one qualifiers in Pro 5.0 and Super Street Outlaw. UPR Products provides the top dog in these two Pro classes a cool $250, so root for your favorite racer during Saturday's qualifying!
ExhibitionMany of our NMRA events feature Heads-Up, Pro-Tree, All-Ford Drag Racing, as well as an exhibition show. You can see Jessie Harris' (aka The Queen of Diamonds) 300-mph Jet Dragster battling it out with Diamond Jim Crownhart in his Alcohol Funny Car. Or you might catch Elaine Larsen in the MissTaFire Jet Dragster attempting to break the land-speed record. Don't forget about the wild Freestyle Moto-X-Team doing things we never thought possible on a dirt bike. Of course, it could be someone completely new sweeping the exhibition show away, so come to the NMRA Ford Nationals event and see where all the action is.
Dial-In-for-Dollars Bracket Challenge Held after time trials on Saturday at most NMRA events, the Dial-In-for-Dollars Challenge is a great way for any bracket or MM&FF True Street racer to sneak an extra time trial and maybe even win cash doing it. All vehicles entering the contest must have a dial-in on the window and will make one time trial. Whoever runs the closest to their dial-in without breaking out wins. Since racers don't race each other, red lights and reaction times don't matter. The winner of the competition will receive 50 percent of the entry fees. For example, if 30 cars run, the winner will receive $150; if 60 cars run, the winner will receive $300. Since the competition will be run after all time trials, it can serve as an extra time trial as well. Bracket racers will get a chance to pick up some extra cash while continuing to tune their cars for the bracket race.
