Auto Show Entry Fees$50 General Admission and $20 Car Registration. (Includes one four-day pass admission into all of the events)
Auto Show Technical Rules1. Before a vehicle can receive its official entry number, it must pass through a technical inspection (classification).
2. Once the vehicle has been classi fied and entered, its class cannot be changed for the duration of the show without the concurrence of the WRE staff.
3. Any vehicle that does not have a Ford-authorized drivetrain will not be allowed to compete.
4. Trailered vehicles must be unloaded from the carrier and driven to the judging area. All equip-ment and accessories must be fully functional.
5. All convertibles will be judged as closed. All tops must be up.
WFC8 Class DescriptionsRefer to the Official WFC8 Rulebook for any class revisions. Rules are subject to change without notice.Pro ModHeads-up, (0.400) pro Tree class for six-second small-block and big-block, back-half, or tube-chassis Fords. No limits on rear tire size. Any 302, 351, 460, 4.6, or 5.4 based engines permitted. Any type of transmission permitted. Thirty-two-car qualified field will run on an NHRA Pro ladder. Three qualifying passes will be permitted.
Pro-Street OutlawHeads-up, (0.400) pro Tree class for back-half or stock suspension chassis. Small-block and big-block Ford-powered '64-and-up Mustangs and '79-and- up Fox-chassis vehicles. Maximum tire size allowed is 29.5x10.5 inches. "W" tires prohibited. Stock-type suspension, ladder bars, or four-link rear suspension is permitted. Single power-adders permitted (nitrous oxide, supercharger, or turbocharger). Thirty-two-car qualified field will run on NHRA Pro ladder. Three qualifying passes will be permitted.
Wild StreetHeads-up, (0.400) pro Tree class for any streetable-type (True Street) Ford-powered and Ford-bodied car or truck. Vehicle must parti-cipate in a 30-mile cruise with highway/city and stop-and-go traffic. Any vehicle failing to complete the entire cruise in the time allotted will be immediately disqualified. Competitors must complete the entire cruise without refueling. Vehicles must have valid registration, proof of insurance, and license plates. Temporary tags and dealer or transport plates are prohibited. The basic DOT safety equipment (headlights, taillights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals, hazard lights, and horn) must be present and fully operational on each vehicle prior to participating in the Wild Street 30-mile cruise, qualifying, or eliminations. Rear tire size may be no greater than 13 inches measured across the width of the tread. Rear tires must be DOT-approved drag radial tires only.
Upon completing the 30-mile cruise, competitors will be put into a line and given a short time for cooling down engines. No tuning or changes to the vehicle will be permitted except for changing tires, checking tire pressure, and adding fuel. Any other services performed on the vehicle will be deemed illegal and will result in immediate disqualification. There will be no exceptions to this rule!
