Another Unlimited Mustang was NASA honcho John Lindsey’s white Fox, which we profiled in our story on the sanc- tioning body (“Iron Horseplay,” Oct. ’02, p. 66). Demonstrating one of the dangers of running a more highly strung Unlimited car for a week, John’s engine ventilated its block with a few connecting rods two days before the end.
