Perhaps the person with the most to prove at the King of the Street was Steve Shrader. Steve flies high the modular performance banner via Shrader Performance. His little E85-burning Two-Valve made us believers after it laid down 834 hp on Holley Performance Products’ Dynojet. Yes, you read that right—834 hp from a stock-displacement 4.6 Two-Valve. Shrader Performance built the little mill, and used a Vortech S-Trim supercharger with a Zex nitrous system as a piggyback power adder. Steve’s GT also ran a 9.86 at 147 mph in the Drag Race portion, proving it is far more than a dyno queen.
