Usually we get fathers sending in cute shots of their toddlers inelectric Mustang toys, but this time around we have a stepdad, Dave DePeau of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who submitted shots of his lovely stepdaughter, Lindsay Richardson, for BOTM. We hope Mom is OK with that.
Lindsey joined the fray in one of our most competitive BOTM online polls in recent memory. After we sorted out all the skullduggery going on, we determined she was the winner, and you can see why. Not surprisingly, Dave doesn't have much to say about her, but he has a lot to say about the '05 Mustang GT he owns with Lindsay's mom, Terry.
"Our Torch Red coupe has a Shelby theme without slavishly duplicating all of the Shelby-look elements," Dave says. "It has the white Le Mans-style stripes like a Shelby, but the pinstripes on both sides of each stripe subtly set them apart. The sides of the car have Graphic Express Mustang fader rocker decals instead of Shelby-style rocker decals."
Other mods include American Muscle GT4 wheels, Pirelli PZero Nero tires, a Vortech supercharger, FRPP exhaust, FRPP gears, Steeda lower control arms, and a host of shiny billet stuff from MGW, UPR, and Silver Horse Racing. All of the gears were installed at CJ Pony Parts. The results are 360.14 hp and 338.64 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels.
"The car hasn't been to the track since the Vortech was installed. Prior to the installation, the car ran a best of 13.68/102.52 in thequarter-mile," Dave says. "The staff at CJ's assured me that the carshould now easily break into the 12s."
Nice car, Dave, but about Lindsay
When you're known around town as Sexy 'Stang, it should go without saying that you're BOTM material. That's certainly the case for Laura Litke, who topped our online poll at 50mustangandsuperfords.com.
Laura is the proud owner of a 40th Anniversary Edition red V-6 Mustang, and her boyfriend--sorry, fellas--owns an '05 Mustang. Since Laura didn't tell us much about either car, we have to assume they're stock. But you guys aren't really reading this page for the cars anyway, are you?

We absolutely love it when our BOTM submissions start like this: "OK, so this is my car. It's a '90 Anniversary Edition GT. Yes, it'sfive-speed--I wouldn't drive it any other way. I'm 22 years old, and I am a full-time student at Oswego State in New York. I work my butt off to support my infatuation with my cars. I have owned 3 Mustangs so far: a '93, a '97, and now my '90 (third time's a charm)."
When you put that setup along with the pictures of the fox with a Fox you're looking at, you can see why Lindsey Scott took top honors in our online poll (50mustangandsuperfords.com). "I catch a lot of people off guard when they find out my infatuation with Mustangs," Lindsey says. "I just tell them that every little girl wants a pony growing up, and mine just happens to be a 5.0. If I do win, I have to thank my good friend and photographer Dan Rioz. He encouraged me to take the pictures again."
Well, we thank Dan for sure. We're confident you've gone back to looking at those pictures, but in case you want to know about the car, it features BBK lowering springs and cold-air intake, KYB Performance shocks and struts, Flowmaster mufflers, and a Steeda short-throw shifter. Lindsey plans to add 3.73 gears.

The latest gal to take her 'Stang to the BOTM winner's circle is Niki Mast. "This is my '05 Saleen S281 supercharged, no. 706," Niki says. "It has beautiful, white 20s and a JDM Stage II kit because I like them fast! My boyfriend and I love the 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Web site and magazine. I know I'll be the best Babe of the Month-and yes, I'm over 18. You love the shirt, too, right?" Yes we do, Niki, and the car is cool.

We didn't have time to get a BOTM Web poll up on the website, but it was easy to go back to the way it used to be where I (Editor Turner) pick the winners. This one was obvious. All I can say is whoa! One look at these photos, and I knew Tara was the winner. She's a "good friend" of Princeton, Indiana's Richard Russelburg. Not only is she hot, but this is her '03 Cobra, which puts down 465 HP and 505 lb-ft of torque to the tires. Oh, yeah, that tatoo is a Cobra too.
"Of course this isn't stock. Tara installed a Predator tune and smaller pulley up front, a Flowmaster exhaust system, and a K&N air filter," Richard says. "Also, a dual-core radiator to keep this hot car cool. She loves her car, but of course her heavy foot gets her in a lot of trouble." Just as cool as Tara driving this tuned-up Terminator is that the 34-year-old hottie works at an auto-body welding shop. We're guessing you don't want to approach Tara trying to dazzle her with your car knowledge, as she might just show you up.
Trent McKinney of Pekin, Illinois, is a go-getter. He couldn't talk his fiance into posing for BOTM, so he called up his friend Sheena Brown, whom he warns us is "taken." So not only did his fiance let him take photos of the lovely Sheena with his car, but apparently, her beau signed off on it, too-or at least, neither of them reads 5.0&SF. "She does some modeling, so I figured why not?" Trent explains. Sounds good (and looks good) to me, Trent.
Sadly, Trent didn't give up too many details on Sheena, who took our BOTM poll at 50mustangandsuperfords.com by a landslide. He did, however, provide plenty of details about his '92 Mustang GT. He bought the car with 92,000 miles on it and has since added cold-air induction, an exhaust, pulleys, a Trick Flow intake, and about 115,000 miles. "When this motor goes," Trent says, "I'll put a 347 stroker in it."
The old adage states that a picture is worth a thousand words. Fortunately, we have three photos of the lovely Heather Borak, who took top honors in our BOTM poll at 50mustangandsuperfords.com. It's fortunate because all we really know is that Heather is getting friendly with Andy Szmyt's flamed '01 Saleen. We also know that Andy is her boyfriend (sorry fellas), and Heather sounds like a Mustang fan's dream come true. "I'm 20 years old, and I'm from southern New Hampshire. I love Mustangs, and I have one too," she says in her brief e-mail.

What's the saying about "friends like these"? It doesn't apply here, anyway. Jeff Hallam's other friends would only become enemies because they're jealous of his "friend" Paloma. We don't know much about her, but we'll give you 3,000 words worth of photos so you can learn about her on your own.
What we do know is she is making Jeff's DSG-that's Dark Shadow Gray for the non-Melvins in the audience-'04 Mach 1 look a lot better just by being near it. Jeff reports that his car has thus far been upgraded with a K&N air filter, a Bassani catalytic X-shape crossover, one-chamber Flowmasters, an MGW short-throw shifter, Eibach Sportline springs, 18x8.5-inch Amp wheels, and BFGoodrich KDW treads.
Every so often, a gal goes all out for a BOTM photo shoot, and the payoff is a victory in our online poll (50mustangandsuperfords.com), so it's appropriate that Trisha Uptown is waving the checkered flag in some of her photos. Better yet, the car you neglected to notice in the photos is actually hers.
"I'm from Kentucky-the land of fast horses and fast women. I always wanted a Mustang and swore I would have one as my first car," Trisha explains. "Nothing gets my blood pumping more than the power of a 427ci small-block with 668 hp like the one in my '88 Mustang. It has ported Victor heads, a 950-cfm Quick Fuel carb, FRPP roller rockers, and a 700-inch-lift Comp cam. I love the feel of its clutchless G-Force Transmission when I open her up to run free like the American spirit." Well said, Trisha.
Michael Sauceda not only put together a cool Mustang and a hot gal, but he pulled off some nice shots of the two together thanks to photographer Robert Ward. The lady in question is 21-year-old Corina Bonilla, Michael's coworker at a bar, who also sometimes works as a Budweiser girl. Michael is obviously a fan, as he says she "is super down to earth and a pleasure to know and see. I have been a subscriber since 2004, and I know I haven't seen anyone as hot as Corina."
We think we've had our share of hotties since 2004, Michael, but Corina will love reading that. As for the 'Stang Corina is distracting us from, it has been significantly upgraded with a K&N Air Charger, a Blow-By Racing throttle body and spacer, an SCT tune, FRPP gears, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, three Alpine touch screens, and a custom exhaust by Madman's Muffler. There aren't any more details on Corina, but we will say she took our online poll at 50mustangandsuperfords.com by a landslide, and that says a lot.

It's not too often that we expect a bittersweet reaction to the BOTM section. Don't get us wrong-this month's edition is all good. It's just that what brings you the lovely photos of Laren from China Springs, Texas, is sad, yet uplifting. You see, the New Edge Mustang she is posing with was once owned by Staff Sgt. Kenneth Jenkins, but it's now owned by his friends Michael Maples and Dave Cole.
"The car belonged to Staff Sgt. Kenneth Jenkins," Michael explains. "He died in Iraq on August 12, 2006, from enemy fire. Before passing on, he made a list of everything that he was going to do to his car once he returned to the States." With the goal of bringing Kenneth's list to fruition, Michael and Dave bought the car and rounded it out with a carbon-fiber hood and trunk, grille delete, FR500 wheels, Katskin leather seats with carbon inserts, a ProCharger supercharger, DiabloSport chip, Bullitt brakes, 3.73 gears, and much more. Except when Michael and Dave take it out for car shows, the finished car now sits safely in a garage as Kenneth envisioned it.
In case you ignored that touching story and still just want to know about Laren, she's a Hooters waitress who loves Mustangs. She was more than happy to pose with Kenneth's 'Stang. "I'm sure Kenny is smiling," Michael says.
Think of your dream girl. She's beautiful. She's cool. She loves Mustangs. She even owns one or two. Well fellas, meet Jazmin. She doesn't own just any Mustang, but a heavily modded Terminator. She obviously meets most of your criteria, and we're guessing you've already decided all that doesn't matter after scoping out the photos. "I am a 23-year-old single mom and college student attending the University of Iowa in pursuit of a law degree. My favorite pastime is going for a ride in one of my Mustangs with my son!"
Obviously her son's friends are gonna love her, but we love her car. "It looks completely stock on the outside, but the engine is far from factory equipped," Jazmin explains. "The block is rebuilt and bored 0.30 over. The piston and rods are custom-made, forged Manley with ARP studs. The factory Eaton was replaced with a Whipple, and the fuel system was upgraded to feed this beast. The IRS had to go, and Robin Lawrence (We remember that guy.-Ed.) built a straight axle for this car. The exhaust is composed of long-tube headers to an H-pipe and a Bassani after-cat. I've had the car at the track several times; it runs mid-11s on street tires."
Jazmin adds that she might not look like a gearhead, but she definitely is one. Her next mod will be a Hellion twin-turbo system. Now you can see why she won our online poll by a landslide.
