Most of the time it’s the girl, not the photos, or even the car, that seems to garner the votes in our BOTM Facebook poll. This time around, it might just be all three, but you have to admit the photos are pretty cool. It seems the lady with the car is pretty cool too.
“I am 28 years old and a stay-at-home mom. I’m married to an amazing man who shares my love for all Fords, especially Mustangs, and we have two beautiful children,” says Cheyenne Burgess. “I have loved Mustangs since I was a little girl, and my dream car has always been a ’70 Boss 429.”
Along with that dream, Cheyenne also dreamed of becoming our BOTM. “For years now, I’ve wanted to be the Babe of the Month in 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine,” she said. “After getting back into shape following my pregnancies, the first thing I did was set up a photo shoot with my good friend and photographer, Steve Badgely, to get some awesome pictures to send in to you.”
We definitely give Steve kudos for the photos, but Cheyenne’s husband, Rich Burgess, also deserves some ups. He built this 1989 GT for her. It rocks an FRPP GT-40 crate engine, a built AOD, an E303 camshaft, and a 3,000-rpm stall converter. “My husband and I welded in the rollcage and designed it differently than most so that my children could ride in it with me,” she said. Now that is definitely a Ford family, and its matriarch certainly deserves a spot on this page.

We know you’ve stopped reading by now, but if you think you know a gal that is BOTM material, well, you won’t know if you don’t get out from under the hood and take a picture of her with your Mustang—or better yet, hers. Send those pictures and a description of your babe and the car to: BOTM, 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
